HDVA Protocols

Hemodynamic Vascular Analysis is available only as part of research protocols approved by Institutional Review Boards.  To improve standards of care and outcomes, the NHSi Research and Development Program 1) collects reference data and 2) incorporates HDVA into observational studies to identify “at risk” states of vascular performance.   Subjects are being recruited for the following protocols:

  • Cerebrovascular Performance in Asymptomatic Subjects
  • Vasospasm in Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (Hemorrhagic Stroke)
  • Adult Hydrocephalus
  • Dementia – Alzheimer’s and Vascular
  • Carotid Stenting - Optimizing Risk vs Benefit
  • ProFess Substudy -- Acute Stroke in Diabetics
  • Effect of Soy Bioflavones on Cerebrovascular Performance
  • Stroke Risk with Peripheral Arterial Disease
  • Natural History of Disease in Clinical Practice

If you have a neurological or other medical condition for which you think you need HDVA, it would be best for you to seek out consultation by a specialist in neurovascular medicine.  If you have a clinical need to see this kind of specialist, please send an email to dva@newhealthsciences.com (with a short description of the nature of the problem) for more information and a list of practitioners in neurovascular medicine in your area.
